WHO doesn’t enjoy a free coffee, Nando’s or cash in your wallet?

Household bills keep rising, which means we’re spending more on day-to-day expenses and cutting back on little luxuries.
Figures show the average household spend on essential bills and everyday outgoings has jumped by £38.95 a month from May 2024 to July 2025, according to comparison website Moneysupermarket.com.
At the same time, disposable income fell by 33% in the four months to July 2025, which means households have less cash to spend on treats including socialising, takeaways and beauty products.
But fear not, there are plenty of goodies up for grabs if you know where to look.
Here are the best things you can get for free this week…
Dine out at a discount – £80
Virgin Media broadband and O2 customers can unlock free perks every Monday through its Blue Mondays promotion.
Every month the telecoms firms updates its website and app with new deals and freebies.
This month its customers can get their hands on a free 12-month Tastecard membership, which could save you around £23 every time you eat out.
The cards are worth £79.99 and unlocks two for one deals dining at hundreds of restaurants including Zizzi and Frankie & Benny’s.
Or you could get 25% off your bill at Pizza Express and Las Iguanas.
To get the card simply download the O2 app onto your mobile phone and create an account.
I get £240 of freebies a year including free electricity, Greggs coffee and sweet treats
LUCY Bareham, 47, from Frinton-on-Sea, is a pro freebie hunter and bags around £240 goodies a year.
The teaching assistant uses Octoplus Rewards from Octopus Energy every week to get a free Greggs hot drink.
She said: “I was also able to get free cakes as part of a special promotion from Greggs.”
She also logged in for every Octopus saving session, where customers can earn points to get money taken of their electricity bill.
“On average I would say I’m saving at least £20 a month through the rewards,” she said.
“Any money I save goes towards days out in the holidays with friends and family.”
Enjoy your top tracks for free – £60
Apple Music is also giving EE customers the chance to enjoy six months of music for free.
The streaming service normally costs £9.99 a month, so you would save almost £50 with the benefit.
To get it simply download the EE reward app and create an account.
Grab free cash and vouchers – £310
Several banks are also giving away free cash this autumn if you jump through a few hoops.
If you open a new TSB current account, you’ll get a £100 welcome bonus and up to £90 in cashback.
Plus, after six months, you can choose between a £120 hotel voucher or access to 12-months of activity tickets.
But you’ll need to be quick as the offer ends today.
It’s not just TSB offering cash to new bank customers.
First Direct will give new customers £175 if they switch their account using the Current Account Switch Service.
Every bank has its own terms and conditions you need to meet to qualify for the perks, including making a minimum monthly deposit or direct debit, so check you qualify first.
Make sure the current account is right for your day-to-day banking before you switch.
Stream millions of songs without ads – £44
Spotify Premium allows you to stream millions of music tracks without any ads.
It usually costs £11.99 a month, but if you sign up through the Spotify website by Monday September 22, you’ll get two months for free.
Just make sure you set a reminder in your calendar to unsubscribe once the two months are up to avoid paying once the trial has ended.
Cash is king – £27.50
Sign-up as a member of Topcashback.co.uk and you’ll get a free £15 bonus when spending at least £15 through the app.
The site has partnered with hundreds of retailers including Sainsbury’s and Tesco.
That means your weekly food shop could easily unlock the bonus, plus any cashback you’d earn for the shopping.
Topcashback is not the only website that offers cash for new customers.
Cashback.co.uk is also currently offering a £10 sign-up bonus, plus you’ll get another £2.50 for answering three questions about yourself and your interests.
You need to complete ten tasks before you can cash out your money, such as signing up for a free Experian account to check your credit score.
Free day out for all the family – £56
Sun Club members can currently get free tickets to Cadbury World but you’ll need to be quick as when they’re gone they’re gone.
There are thousands of free tickets up for grabs, plus more than 26,000 from just £10.
Just click the link above to get your unique code.
Day tickets cost up to £28 each, meaning you could save up to £56 on two tickets.
The offer is running until September 24 and is only available on selected dates.
Get your hands on a free hot drink – £2
Morrisons is treating More Card holders to a free refillable hot drink in its cafés when they spend £10 or more in store.
The offer runs until September 28 and can be used for drinks from lattes to green teas.
Customers earn the voucher when they scan their More Card.
The voucher will appear in the app or be given as a physical coupon.
Save money on your weekly shop – £8
Download the app Shopmium and you’ll be offered all sorts of freebies and offers on groceries and everyday items.
For example, you can currently get a free Wilkinson Sword razor worth more than £8 when buying a pack of five blades.
The more you use the app, you’ll unlock different tier levels and get offered better deals.
To get started just download the Shopmium app to your mobile phone.
Free wings and chicken at Nando’s – £5.50
You can also get a free starter or wings this month at Nando’s.
If you sign up to the Nando’s Rewards scheme in September then a free green reward will be added to your account instantly, instead of the usual bonus chilli.
These green rewards can be traded in for a free starter, quarter chicken or three wings worth from to £5.50.
The offer is running until the end of the month and available in any UK and Ireland restaurant, or via collect and Nando’s delivery.

Pay nothing for a pint – £10
Anyone can get a free pint of Thatchers Juicy Apple cider at selected pubs and bars across the UK throughout September.
Venues include The Old Gate Inn in the Peak District, Ring O’ Bells in the Lake District and Land’s End Hotel in Cornwall.
