It has been announced that a new coaster will open in CBeebies Land in spring 2026.

Along with the new ride, there will be a Heeler family meet-and-greet and a new live stage show.

Sabrina de Carvalho, Senior Vice President at Merlin Entertainments said: “I’m excited to finally announce our new Bluey coaster in CBeebies Land at Alton Towers Resort – the first Bluey coaster in the world.

“We can’t wait to welcome Bluey fans and young families from all over the world to the resort.

“We’re keeping the exact details and launch date under wraps for now but Bluey’s limitless energy is sure to be reflected in our new junior coaster.”

The ride isn’t the first Bluey attraction though, as the resort opened Bluey themed hotel rooms in May 2024.

This was part of the resort’s 10-year anniversary celebrations for CBeebies Land.

The rooms sleep up to five guests and have been designed for young families with characters Bluey and Bingo appearing on the walls.

The kids room has bunk beds, a watermelon rug and the cartoon dogs’ Himalayan rock salt night light along with Heeler family murals and fairy lights.

Other themed rooms around the park include those based on Octonauts, Postman Pat, Swashbuckle and In The Night Garden.

Sun writer, Hannah, and her family stayed in the Bluey-themed rooms when they launched last year and it was a definite hit with the kids.

The theme tune plays out of the speakers and adults can stay in Bandit and Chilli’s room which she added has “a king size bed, TV and lots of pictures of Bluey and Bingo as puppies, much to the delight of our kids.”

Venturing into the park, Hannah said their favourite attractions were the Postman Pat vans and the In The Night Garden boat ride.

Rides in CBeebies Land include Hey Duggee Big Adventure Badge, Andy’s Adventures Dinosaur Dig and JoJo & Gran Gran At Home, plus Go Jetters Vroomster Zoom ride.

As well as Something Special Sensory Garden and Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure.

A one day pass to CBeebies Land is from £34pp when booked online and guests can experience over 40 rides and attractions.
