Do you get Kindle Unlimited with Amazon Prime?
Unfortunately, Kindle Unlimited is not included with an Amazon Prime membership as it runs as a separate subscription, similar to Amazon Music Unlimited and Audible.
Amazon Prime members can instead benefit from Prime Reading, a service that provides access to a digital library.
Prime Reading offers a smaller collection of titles that is regularly updated.
Kindle Unlimited provides users with access to over a million titles, while Prime Reading only gives you access to a few thousand.
While Prime Reading features several popular fiction and non-fiction titles, those seeking a broader selection may find a Kindle Unlimited subscription more suitable.
How to cancel Amazon Kindle Unlimited?
If you’ve found that you’re not using Kindle Unlimited as much as you originally thought you would, you can cancel your subscription.
Head to Amazon’s help page to find out more.
You simply go to the membership and subscription page in your Amazon account, click through to ‘Cancel Kindle Unlimited Membership’, and select the option to cancel.
You can also pause your monthly subscription for one month instead of cancelling.
If you’ve paused your subscription, you can resume it at any time.
However, pausing your subscription is not available if you are on a free trial or promotional offer.
Do you still have to pay for books if you have Kindle Unlimited?
Once you’ve activated your membership, you don’t need to pay for books as long as you’re reading titles that are included in your subscription.
If you come across a particular book that you want to read and it’s not included in the Kindle Unlimited selection, you will have to pay an additional fee.
Do I need to have a Kindle to use Kindle Unlimited?
You don’t need a Kindle to access Kindle Unlimited.
If you prefer to use your mobile, tablet, or desktop browser, you can download the Kindle app to your preferred device.
The app is available on Android phones, iPhones, iPads, tablets (including Fire Tablets), MacBooks, and more.
