AMAZON is set to launch its first European-wide sale dedicated entirely to refurbished and second-hand products.
The so-called Second Chance Deal Days will run from September 3-9, offering customers savings of up to 70% off recommended retail prices.

The online giant said its research suggested that two-thirds of British people are now buying second-hand goods, driven by the cost of living, expanded product selection and environmental concerns.
With over 30million second-hand products available, shoppers will be able to save on tech, home appliances, fitness gear, and more.
Amazon said its customers saved over £110million by shopping returned and refurbished products in the UK last year.
Customers can snap up used and refurbished items through two of the retailer’s key programmes.
Amazon Resale offers discounted used and open-box products, graded as “Like New,” “Very Good,” “Good,” or “Acceptable” to help shoppers make informed choices.
Meanwhile, Amazon Renewed features refurbished items from trusted sellers, professionally inspected, tested, and cleaned to meet strict standards.
Both types of items are included in the Second Chance Deal Days promotion.
Highlights of the promotion include the Sony PlayStation Portal Remote Reader for £140 (30% off), Apple AirPods 4 for £110 (40% off), and the Google Fitbit Sense 2 for just £70 (a massive 70% off).
Other top deals include the De’Longhi Magnifica Coffee Machine at £170 (50% off) and the Tower Dual Basket Air Fryer for £45 (60% off).

This latest promotion kicks off ahead of Amazon’s second Prime Day event of the year, which is expected to take place in October.
The popular members-only sale promises deep discounts and unmissable savings across several categories.
The sale is exclusively for Amazon Prime members, meaning you’ll need to sign up if you want access to the jaw-dropping discounts when the event kicks off.
Prime membership is easy to sort and comes with loads of perks, including next-day delivery and access to Prime Video and Amazon Music.
The subscription will set you back £8.99 a month, or you can save by opting for the annual membership at £95.
But here’s the money-saving hack shoppers need to know – if you’re new to Prime, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial, giving you free access to the sale when it launches.
Just remember you’ll need to cancel your membership before the 30-day trial ends to avoid being charged the ongoing £8.99 monthly fee.
