THE summer transfer window is NOW CLOSED – and Arsenal have FINALLY announced Piero Hincapie!
As the clock ticked past the 7pm deadline Hincapie had not been confirmed as a Gunner, but the move has now been announced with Mikel Arteta finally bolstering his defence.
Clubs have a two-hour grace period to complete any late moves as long as a deal sheet was submitted in time.
Similarly, there has been no confirmation on Reiss Nelson – who is wanted by Brentford – or Jakub Kiwior, although he should move very soon now the Hincapie deal has been confirmed.
Elsewhere, Oleksandr Zinchenko is now also expected to STAY at the club, after his wage demands were too high for Marseille, while Arsenal have completed the sale of Albert Sambi Lokonga to Hamburg.
