THE summer transfer window is NOW CLOSED after a manic end on deadline day.
As the clock ticked past the 7pm deadline, Piero Hincapie had not been confirmed as an Arsenal player, but the loan move has now been announced with Mikel Arteta finally bolstering his defence.
Elsewhere, Oleksandr Zinchenko was expected to STAY at the club after his wage demands were too high for Marseille, but he sealed a shock loan move to Nottingham Forest late in the day.
Meanwhile, Reiss Nelson joined Brentford on a season-long loan, Jakub Kiwior moved to Porto, while Fabio Vieira and Albert Sambi Lokonga both joined Hamburg.
