THE BBC looks to be rocked by schedule chaos as sporting events disrupt coverage of many TV favourites.
This Friday, a series of staple shows will be booted from the BBC One schedule.

MasterChef will also be affected[/caption]
The One Show won’t air as usual[/caption]
The channel will be broadcasting live coverage of the Women’s Rugby World Cup.
BBC One will be airing the sporting coverage between 6pm and 10pm.
It will be followed by the BBC News At Ten before live coverage of Chappell Roan’s headline set at Reading Festival.
It means three major shows that usually air across these timeslots on BBC One will all be axed.
The One Show, MasterChef and controversial comedy Mrs. Brown’s Boys will all be scrubbed from the air.
Whilst The One Show and Mrs. Brown’s Boys will be ditched altogether, the BBC have chosen to quietly move MasterChef to an unassuming timeslot on Saturday evening.
Amid the furore surrounding Gregg Wallace and the ratings decline, MasterChef will be screened at 7:55pm on BBC One on Saturday evening.
It will be sandwiched in between Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and Casualty.
Elsewhere, the schedule chaos does not stop there.
On Saturday afternoon, Final Score will be moved to BBC Two owing to even more Rugby World Cup coverage on the main BBC channel.
It is the second time that MasterChef has faced a schedule overhaul since kicking off its latest series – which will be the last to feature hosts Gregg and John Torode after they were both axed from the programme.
Meanwhile, fans of Mrs. Brown’s Boys will be left on tenterhooks for a while longer after fearing that Agnes would die at the end of the current series.
In the latest episode, viewers watched on as Agnes fell into a coma and was taken to hospital.
The ending featured her doctors revealing they’ll have to turn off the life support machines.
Writing online, fans have been left certain of Agnes’ demise – albeit very divided in their reactions.
One said on X: “Is she dead? Is this the last ever series?? Fingers crossed!!!”
Another penned: “RIP Mrs Brown – thanks for the laughs.”
A third added: “What a strange ending! Has she passed away?”
While a fourth remarked: “She’s DEAD. Finally we’re free from the curse of the worst show on tv.”
