MOVING tributes have poured in from the family of a 33-year-old mum who was killed in a horror crash.

Chloe Lightfoot died when her Citroen Berlingo van collided with a HGV on the A66 near Barnard Castle, just before 8am on Tuesday.

In a statement her family said: “Chloe was a beautiful young woman, who was a mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, girlfriend, and friend to many.

“To never see her smile again is breaking our hearts. We are going to miss her every day.

“Our memories have never been so important to us as we try to come to terms with what has happened.

“We love her so much. She will never be forgotten.”

Chloe’s family are being supported by specialist officers.

Earlier this week, Durham Police confirmed Chloe’s family were being supported by specialist officers following the tragedy.
