I think this has to be the most searched-for beauty Advent calendar every year and as a make-up and skincare fanatic, I couldn’t wait to get hold of it.

This is by far the most luxurious beauty calendar I’ve received – I was blown away by the packaging, which is a shimmering gold with jewel-like handles adorning the drawers.

The box is definitely one to keep and is sturdy enough to store make-up or jewellery.

Although there are just 12 products in the calendar, I’m a big Charlotte Tilbury fan so I had high hopes for the content.

I can’t say what’s inside just yet, but it delivered on most of my expectations, although having mainly mini sizes was a little disappointing.

Overall, I would say it’s value for money and if you’re keen to try a range of the brand’s products this is a great way to do so.

Best beauty advent calendars FAQs:

When do beauty advent calendars start going on sale?

Most Christmas beauty calendars start going on sale in September or October, with waitlists available to sign up to from July or August.

Advent calendars are known to sell out quickly, which is why a waitlist is recommended.

It doesn’t mean you need to buy the advent calendar there and then.

It simply means you will receive updates on when the advent calendar officially goes on sale and often are given priority access to buy.

When is the M&S beauty advent calendar released?

The M&S beauty Advent calendar launches in store and online on 9th October.

It costs £60 this year when you spend £35 on fashion, home or beauty, and is worth £330.

It includes 25 products (8 of which are full size), from brands like Clinique, Estée Lauder and Nuxe, housed inside an illustrated box designed by Bella Freud.

Will beauty advent calendars go on sale for Black Friday 2025?

Beauty advent calendars are already a huge saving in comparison to shopping every item in the bundle separately.

But if you are looking to save even more, some advent calendars have been known (rarely) to be included in the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales.

In the majority of cases, calendars will have sold out by the time Black Friday comes around.

And when is Black Friday in the UK? The fevered shopping date lands on Friday 28th November 2025.

If there is a particular calendar you have your sights set on, I would strongly advise not waiting until the Black Friday sale in order not to miss out.

Are beauty advent calendars worth it?

In my opinion, yes, beauty advent calendars are always worth the money.

Part of the reason advent calendars are hugely popular is because you can enjoy hundreds, if not thousands, of pounds worth of beauty products for a fraction of the price.

In total honesty, I will never spend £1,000 in one full shopping spree, and I don’t know many people who would.

But splurging £50 to £250 on a beauty calendar bundle is more appealing and purse friendly.

I also think beauty advent calendars are worth the money because it makes getting my hands on sell-out products easier and stress-free.

Which beauty advent calendar is worth the most?

All the advent calendars listed above are good value, as they are worth way more than their price tag.

Shoppers should look out for those with the most full size items to get the best value.

But in regards to monetary value, the Liberty Advent calendar is worth the most, costing £275, but worth £1,245.

The Cult Beauty Advent calendar is close behind, costing £235, but worth £1,100.

For a more affordable alternatives, the Lookfantastic Advent calendar (costing £105) never disappoints, as it includes a mix of trending products, bestsellers and classic favourites.
