B&M shoppers are going mad for new Cadbury flavour spotted on shelves

SHOPPERS have gone into a frenzy after the rare chocolate bar was spotted in branches of B&M across the UK.

Chocolate fans first shared the limited-edition bar online, which led to a rush to the bargain chain.

One user posted on Facebook: “Chocolate for those who enjoy Vanilla and Passionfruit flavours, from B&M.”

Fans flocked to the comments. One wrote: “This looks delicious.”

Another said: “This is exactly what I’ve been craving.”

Others even tagged their mates to make sure they didn’t miss out.

It’s not the only rare treat spotted recently in the aisles.

Just days ago, shoppers went mad for a Snickers Peanut Brownie bar.

The American-style bar mixes gooey brownie with chunky peanuts and smooth chocolate.

But it’s rarely seen in Britain, making it an unusual find for chocoholics.

One delighted fan who managed to grab one shared their excitement online.

Plenty of others quickly joined in, saying they were desperate to try it too.

And it’s not the first time B&M has surprised customers with unusual imports.

Earlier this year, shoppers rushed to pick up Snickers Almond – a flavour launched in the US six years ago but almost never seen here.

The almond version mixes nuts, nougat, caramel and milk chocolate.

B&M has become a hotspot for discovering limited-edition chocolate.

The chain often stocks bars made in Australia that don’t normally reach UK shelves.

Earlier this week, food fans also spotted Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Breakaway Choc Malt Shake bar.

The chocolate combines Dairy Milk with a malty, chocolatey wafer centre.

One fan group posted: “Choc Malt Shake Dairy Milk Breakaway Bars are back at B&M Stores.”

Commenters piled in saying: “I need to try these,” and “YES! These are my favourite!”

Another said simply: “Yum, these look delicious.”

Some reckon the flavour is a dead ringer for Cadbury Caramilk Breakaway.

Others compared it to KitKat’s Chunky Milo bar.

B&M does not sell its products online.

So if you want to get your hands on these rare bars, you’ll need to visit a shop.

You can find your nearest using the B&M store finder tool on its website.

The Sun has asked the retailer about the price and will update when we know more.

With more and more unusual flavours being spotted, shoppers are keeping a close eye on the aisles.

And if you’re lucky, you might just stumble across the next rare chocolate sensation.

How to save money at B&M

The B&M scanner app is free to download onto your smartphone from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Once you have downloaded it, simply use the camera on your phone to scan product barcodes around the store.

The app then lets you know the true price of the product, which is sometimes much lower than the price on its shelf tag.

One shopper used the app to get a long hot water bottle for 10p, down from £10.

The best time to get cut-priced products is 10am on a Wednesday, according to an ex B&M manager.

This is when staff cut the price of items to as little as 10p to get rid of excess stock and make way for new products.

How to save money on chocolate

We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don’t have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.

Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…

Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for the supermarket’s own brand bars.

Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.

Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.

Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.

They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.

Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.

So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
