Wrapping paper is now on sale, four months before Christmas[/caption]

The budget-friendly retailer has started stocking rolls of wrapping paper, almost four months before Christmas Day.

One eagle-eyed shopper shared the news of the product landing on B&M’s shelves on Facebook, sending her fellow customers into a frenzy.

Shoppers have flooded the comments section of the post, as they raced to the shop to stock up ahead of December.

One asked a friend whether there were many rolls left, adding “Might pop up tomorrow X”.

Her pal replied: “yeah, we only took a couple”.

Another user tagged a friend in a hilarious post.

She wrote: “i bet ur still gifting last years stuff.”

Her friend reply: “yeah, the kids have a new swimming pool every weekend.”

The huge rolls cost just 50p and have a beautiful floral design.

B&M regularly goes viral for stocking alternative versions of popular treats.

The store has started stocking Raspberry Maltesers in 125g bags, which are available for £2.99.

The treat has a crunchy malt centre which is drenched in raspberry milk chocolate.

Meanwhile, three discontinued chocolate bars have returned to the shelves at B&M.

The tasty treats now on sale include Twiz Crispy rolls, Milky Way Crispy Rolls and Bounty Crispy Rolls.

Each of the bars cost just £1.50, with shoppers describing them as “yummy” and “delicious”.

The news comes after the budget-friendly retailer announced plans to close one of its most popular stores.

B&M’s Musselburgh branch will cease trading on January 9 2026, as the chain shifts its focus to another nearby store.

Resources will now be devoted to the Fort Kinnaird store.

The store also confirmed that staff would be reallocated to alternative stores in the area.

How to save money on chocolate

We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don’t have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.

Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…

Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for the supermarket’s own brand bars.

Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.

Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.

Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.

They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.

Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.

So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
