Customers of the bargain retailer spotted the limited edition treats on shelves this week.
Maltesers first launched one of the unique flavours in Australia in 2018.
However, the version has been almost impossible to find in UK stores until now.
One foodie shared their excitement after spotting the sweet treats at their local B&M.
Two flavours
The Facebook user shared pictures of the Raspberry Maltesers as well as a Honeycomb version.
Accoding to the photos posted on Newfoodsuk, a 125g bag of the limited edition Maltesers are available for £2.99.
The raspberry version of the snack is described as “the same light crunchy malt centre coated in raspberry milk chocolate”.
Meanwhile, the honeycomb version, also popular in Australia, feature honeycomb-flavoured milk chocolate.
Shopper reactions
Facebook users shared their thoughts on the flavours in the comments section.
“Is this for real? Because if so, I need them in my life as soon as possible,” wrote one person.
“They sound amazing!!!!” agreed another enthusiastic commenter.
“Oooohh, yes please to the honeycomb ones,” commented a third B&M shopper.
Another Facebook user said they were “intrigued by the raspberry Maltesers”.
Maltesers previously introduced a raspberry flavoured cake bar which went down a treat with shoppers.
And the limited edition flavours come after the brand reintroduced a popular version of the snack after a decade.
How to save money on chocolate
We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don’t have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…
Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for the supermarket’s own brand bars.
Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.
Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.
They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.
Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.
So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
More on food
UK shoppers were recently divided on a controversial new Maltesers chocolate.
And an all-new Nestle chocolate bar based on an iconic cereal has been spotted on supermarket shelves for first time.
Plus, major supermarkets are already selling tubs of chocolates including Roses and Quality Street four months before Christmas.
