A BRITISH singer-songwriter has stunned fans by announcing she’s stepping away from performing.
The star shared her devastating health struggles on Instagram that have left her unable to continue singing on stage.

Elle has revealed she has to “undergo spinal surgery and treatment,” which has forced her to quit singing and performing for the “foreseeable future.”
She wrote to her followers: “To all my lovely friends and followers, It’s with a heavy heart that I share l’Il be stepping away from singing and performing for the current foreseeable future.
“As some of you know, I’ve been quietly dealing with ongoing health issues, and recent results mean I now have to make the difficult decision to stop while I undergo spinal surgery and treatment – both of which will leave me unable to sing or perform for what is, right now, an unknown period of time.
“Music, singing, and performing are such a deep part of who I am, so having to pause this part of my life is incredibly difficult but right now, I need to focus on my health.
“I’m beyond grateful to those who’ve supported me, stepped in to help, and reminded me this is just a pause – not the end.
“All bookings have been contacted, and I’m truly gutted to miss so many special moments.
“Thank you for the continued love. See you on the flip side – stronger than ever and singing my little heart out once again.
“The emotional revelation has sparked an outpouring of love from celebrity pals and loyal fans. Ellie.”
Flooding social media with messages of support and admiration, including Bastille drummer Woody, who wrote: “Love ya mate.”
Love Island winner Dani Dyer added: “Omg Elle I’m sending you so much love.. you are amazing wishing you the speediest recovery so you will be back singing again soon.. your voice is to special.”
Capital radio presenter Chris Stark commented: “Sorry to hear this Elle. Hope you make a speedy recovery. All our love.”

Elle is known in the international music scene for Soul, R&B, and House singing.
She is a resident singer at Ibiza Rocks and Love Brunch UK.
Elle has lit up stages from sun-drenched pool parties to high-energy brunch events, captivating crowds with her smooth vocals and magnetic presence.
She is also part of a two-piece girl band named GLAMMA – with DJ and producer Juliet Thurbz.
