Punters will be able to get their hands on the dreamy drinks and proper grub to kick off the cosy season in style.

What’s on the menu?

To kick things off, the drink everyone has been crying out for is making its glorious return.

The iconic Maple Hazel Latte, with its sweet, nutty flavour, is back on the menu, and can be ordered hot or iced.

And that’s not all. The unbelievably comforting Maple Hazel Hot Chocolate is back, alongside the ice-cold Maple Hazel Frappe.

Anyone dashing about won’t miss out either, as the Latte and Hot Chocolate are available at Costa Express machines nationwide.

For a cosy day on the sofa, the at-home sachet versions are also back on supermarket shelves.

There’s even a brand new ready-to-drink can, the Double Shot + Caramel, for a proper energy boost to beat the afternoon slump.

New food items

The food menu has had a mega shake-up with some new sarnies.

Top of the list is the brand new Salami, Mozzarella and Hot Honey Panini.

It’s loaded with Italian mozzarella, Milano salami and spinach, plus a roasted pepper sauce and a kick of hot honey.

And for lovers of a classic, the hugely popular Roast Chicken and Bacon Sandwich is making a welcome return, oozing with its famous chicken gravy mayonnaise.

Costa has also brought out a new line-up of cakes and bakes.

A brand new Maple Hazelnut Cookie Sandwich is hitting the counters and for every one sold, 5p goes to the Costa Foundation.

For a bit of spooky fun, there’s a Halloween Cornflake Cake with a white chocolate skull on top.

Plus, a load of old favourites are back for another year.

The Coffee giant has brought back its Sticky Pecan Mini Loaf, the Chocolate and Salted Caramel Cake, the plant-based Gingernut Loaf Cake and the Iced Ghost Gingerbread Biscuit.

New merch

Punters can even get their hands on some new coffee gear.

There’s a purple reusable travel cup for £12, or a gold ombre one for £15.

Fans of the coffee chain can even grab a cute new keyring for just £4.95.

The entire autumn menu lands in stores across the UK from tomorrow, Thursday 4 September.

Costa Coffee loyalty scheme perks

COSTA Club members can get early access to new menus among other perks.

To join download the Costa Coffee app, it’s free to download via the Apple app store or Google Play store.

Stamps can be collected in any of the chain’s 2,800 coffee shops, as well as around 12,000 machines in petrol stations and convenience stores.

You can get stamps for spending in store and using a reusable cup.

You get a free drink after collecting ten stamps, or beans as they are called.

For a small latte, at £3.50, it’s £35 to get a free coffee.

Those going to a Costa store can earn an additional bean with a reusable cup, so that cuts the outlay down to £17.50 or buying five coffees.

  • How it works: 1 drink purchased = 1 bean, 10 beans = free drink
  • Small latte cost: £3.50
  • Number of drinks to hit target: 10
  • Cost for a ‘free’ coffee: £35
  • Reusable cup bonus: Yes, one extra bean

You also get free cake on your birthday.

More food news

Costa isn’t the only food chain bringing along a new menu this month.

Greggs recently launched its cosy autumn menu and it includes a brand new bake and pumpkin spice drinks.

It comes after The Sun revealed that Greggs has axed its popular Roast Chicken Salad Roll from menus.

Retailers and fast food chains often discontinue products and items in favour of others based on trends and demand.

Earlier this year, we revealed Greggs had also discontinued the Chargrill Chicken Oval Bite.

The sandwich was first launched in 2016 as part of a new range.

Plus, the Spicy Veg Curry Bake was axed in May.

Elsewhere, McDonald’s has shocked fans after axing eight popular menu items.
