DEFIANT Defence Secretary John Healey yesterday sent a “two fingers signal to Putin” from Ukraine in the midst of the latest Russian missile blitz.
Mr Healey mocked the tyrant on a visit to Kyiv — claiming Putin was “begging for help” by joining with China’s Xi Jinping and North Korea’s Kim Jong-un in Beijing.

He revealed Britain had spent more than £1billion from seized Russian assets on weapons to arm Ukraine.
Mr Healey told The Sun: “We are returning Putin’s money with interest, with missiles for Ukraine.”
As the air raid sirens sounded following yet another Russian attack — 500 drones and 24 missiles — he added: “This is a two fingers signal to Putin.”
Turning both barrels on the Russian leader, he went on: “He is weaker than ever. He has lost more than a million men. He has lost more than ten thousand tanks and armoured vehicles.
“His Black Sea Fleet has been humiliated by a nation without a navy.”
Mr Healey was in Ukraine with Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton, Britain’s new Armed Forces chief.
It was Sir Richard’s second visit in seven days, underlining UK support.
As part of his trip to Ukraine’s capital, Mr Healey visited the remains of the British Council building hit last week in Russia’s second largest blitz of the war.
Although only one person was injured at the building, at least 19 civilians died in the wider bombardment of Kyiv.
Of that strike, Mr Healey thundered: “You have got a Russian missile, in an illegal war, hitting a British government building in a civilian area and injuring civilians. It is an outrage.”
Mr Healey was due to co-chair a defence ministers’ meeting of Coalition of the Willing nations, who are prepared to send peacekeepers to Ukraine.
He said: “We’re preparing for a ceasefire. From day one there will be British jets in the sky and British boots on the ground.”
He said Turkey would lead efforts to clear the Black Sea of mines.
