The World of Frozen has been in the works for years and is forming a part of the Disney Adventure World project.

Now, it’s been revealed by Disney that the world of Elsa, Ana, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven will open next spring.

It will be similar to the one already open in Hong Kong and Tokyo, but will be the very first Frozen land outside of Asia.

Construction is well underway, and the new world will transform visitors to the fictional land of Arendelle.

The village will be built around a huge lake where guests will be able to watch live water shows.

In the distance will be the snowcapped North Mountain along with Elsa’s very own ice castle.

As for rides, visitors can look forward to bobbing along the water in a new boat ride called Frozen Ever After.

There will also be two shows and a restaurant serving themed snacks.

And of course the iconic characters of Elsa, Anna and Olaf will be available for meet and greets around Arendelle.

The World of Frozen forms part of the €2billion (£1.7billion) investment that’s transforming Walt Disney Studio Park.

Walt Disney Studio Park will become Disney Adventure World next year and is undergoing a huge expansion.

Fans of Disneyland Paris will notice huge changes that have already happened like the new entranceway.

The new entrance to Disneyland Paris‘ Walt Disney Studios Park is called World Premiere.

Now visitors will enter through a glamorous Hollywood-style area that makes you feel like you’re walking into a movie premiere.

It has new shops, dining areas and you’ll enter under a starry sky.

There’s still more to come too, along with the World of Frozen, with other attractions coming to Disney Adventure World based on The Lion King.

The new Lion King attraction will have a log flume ride that takes visitors “through the African savanna” before plummeting down pride rock that’s 37-metres-high.

The ride will be a world first and is set to include the characters Mufasa, Simba, Timon and Pumba.

The land will also have a new water attraction that will see Simba’s journey from cub to lion.

There will also be a new Tangled ride called Raiponce Tangled Spin – a teacup style ride.

Anyone getting onboard will end up spinning through the famous lantern scene.

Pixar’s Up will also receive its own attraction, with a ride based upon a flying carousel.

Here are more updates on the upcoming attractions from one writer who went behind the scenes of Disney Adventure World.

Plus, here are details about the much-anticipated Avatar World – and the one beloved ride that’s set to close.

What’s it like visiting Disneyland Paris?

Here’s what I discovered during my first trip to Disneyland Paris…

“I visited Disneyland Paris in the spring of 2025, and the next time I go back, it’ll be completely transformed.

“During my visit, I enjoyed the delights of the limited edition music festival – which was also a Disney first. And if it ever returns, I’d encourage everyone to visit.

“There was a whopping 20 hours of festival attractions around the park, from huge performance to small gigs. So it’s safe to say the Disney never goes in small – and that’s the same for the new upgrades.

“Personally, I can’t wait for the new rides and worlds at Disneyland Paris. The Disneyland Park is incredible with its towering pink castle and beautiful French-style cafes, Walt Disney Park slightly pales in comparison.

“But with the additions of the new Frozen world, as well as The Lion King, and the Up attractions – I don’t doubt it will make the park feel completely brand new and will bring in plenty of new visitors eager to see it all, including myself.”
