Doja Cat, Taylor Momsen and Zara Larsson stun on the red carpet at the 2025 MTV VMAs

THE biggest music stars in the industry walked the red carpet tonight at the MTV VMAs 2025.

The star-studded event is hosted in New York’s UBS Arena with a host of legendary stars and breakout acts in attendance.

Zara Larsson looked stunning in a sheer blue and floral dress[/caption]

US rapper Doja Cat lead the red carpet in a showstopping blue and yellow off-the-shoulder mini dress.

The Paint The Town Red hitmaker showed off her incredible figure in the sparkly embellished frock and added a pair yellow platform heels.

She was rocking a bouncy blow-dry and added a pop of colour with bright red lipstick and dangling purple earrings.

The singer was joined by a number of musicians, including K-pop girl group Katseye, who have racked up 6 million followers on Instagram

Members Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae looked stunning as they in a variety of glamorous dresses and stilettos.

While singer, model and actress Taylor Momsen, 32, looked edgy in a black bra with her abs on display.

She completed her outfit with a pair of leather flared trousers and chunky boots.

Taylor went heavy with the eye make-up and accessorized with silver layered necklaces, while her blonde tresses was styled in loose waves.

Broadway star Frankie Grande made a lively entrance with a colourful yellow and black suit.

Zara Larsson looked stunning in a sheer blue and floral dress and orange strappy heels.

The VMAs celebrate the best music videos of the year and two brand new categories have been introduced – Best Country and Best Pop Artist.

The new Rock the Bells Visionary Award has been awarded to Busta Rhymes, Ricky Martin will be honoured with the Latin Icon Award. They both will be performing tonight.

While newly-engaged Taylor Swift and Texas Hold ‘Em hitmaker Beyonce, who both have 30 VMAs each, will be battling it out tonight.

They are both only nominated in the artist of the year category and fans will be eager to see if either of them scoop the award.

The ceremony will be hosted by VMA veteran LL Cool J and he’ll welcome a number of celebrities to the stage to perform including Tate McRae, Doja Cat, Post Malone and Sabrina Carpenter.

Mariah Carey will receive the 2025 Video Vanguard Award, which has previously been awarded to big names like Katy Perry, Shakira, Beyonce and Madonna.

A special tribute for the late Ozzy Osbourne will also feature, after the Black Sabbath star passed away in July. 

Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, Yungblud and Nuno Bettencourt will perform a medley of Ozzy’s greatest hits.
