However, if you’re not ready to fork out for the eye-watering £90 price tag, don’t worry – you can still rock a similar look for more than half-price.
According to thrifty fashionistas, a rival retailer is flogging their own version of the checked piece – and it’s currently on sale too.
Informing others about the epic find, one style lover, Polly, took to TikTok to show off the gorgeous jacket.
”If you’ve been looking for the viral M&S autumn check jacket but you haven’t been able to get your hands on one, then I might have just the thing for you.
”I’ve found a super similar one,” she said in the video.
The must-have autumn piece – Corduroy Collar Twill Jacket – is a near-identical alternative to the viral M&S coat and is available at H&M for just £34.
Similarly to the popular M&S buy, this stunning H&M jacket boasts a chic corduroy collar in a deep burgundy-brown colour.
The jacket, which is lined, comes with a zip down the front, forward-facing shoulder seams and long sleeves – ideal for keeping toasty in the colder months ahead.
Just like the pricey version, the affordable jacket also features two pockets at the front – however, the buy is shorter and doesn’t have the gold button detailing.
Polly, who posts under the username @pollydunseath, went on: ”This one is more of a cropped, boxy fit.
”It’s still got the check with the corduroy collar – and it’s half the price of the Marks & Spencer’s one.
”I love it as a cute alternative,” she said in the comments.
Cash-savvy fashionistas can get their hands on the jacket in sizes ranging from XXS to XL – however, the stock may vary from store to store.

“M&S has really pulled it out of the bag this season, there is so much good product to be excited about.

“Its handbag range in particular is super strong with them selling 170% vs plan, with lots more designer dupes for just a fraction of the price.
“The brand is now also the #1 for style perceptions, compared to the #3 spot it had last year, this comes from a really strong design team focused on modernising the brand, not only taking into consideration how the pieces look, but how easy they are to wear also.
“Price is also a big factor with you being able to get many good quality pieces all for under £30.
“After having a sneak peak of the upcoming collection there are so many more amazing pieces that are dropping over the next few months to keep your eyes on.
