Embarrassing moment acrobatic Serbia fan tries to get into England end of stadium before he is tackled by security

ONE overenthusiastic Serbia fan’s evening didn’t end well when he tried to get inside the England end during Tuesday night’s World Cup qualifier.

England thrashed Serbia 5-0 away from home to go seven points clear at the top of their qualification group.

The travelling Three Lions support was in full voice as Harry Kane, Noni Madueke, Ezri Konsa, Marc Guehi and Marcus Rashford all netted for Thomas Tuchel‘s side.

But the home fans had a more frustrating night, watching their side get brushed aside with ease and putting their qualification hopes in jeopardy.

It all seemed to get a bit much for one Serbia supporter, who could be seen climbing onto scaffolding next to the England end and seemingly trying to get inside.

The man was gesturing to the away fans as they hit back with chants of “who are ya” from the terraces.

While security inside the Rajko Mitic Stadium were trying to coax the angry supporter down from on top of the scaffolding.

Eventually, the Serbia fan found himself surrounded by security as he jumped from structure to structure trying to evade capture.

That was until he made a leap of faith to get away from them, only to be immediately tackled to the ground and dragged away by three police officers.

Reacting to the video on social media, one fan wrote: “Looks like that ended well.”

While another added: “Maybe next time they’ll stick to a less adventurous route.”

A third posted: “I remember my first beer.”

And a fourth simply labelled the ordeal as “embarrassing”.

The fan’s night went about as well as Serbia’s, who now face an uphill battle to earn World Cup qualification.

Dragan Stojkovic’s side are now eight points behind England, who hold the only automatic qualification place in the group.

While they will be without Nottingham Forest star Nikola Milenkovic for their game against Albania next month after he was sent off in the 72nd minute.

The 27-year-old centre-back, who was Serbia’s captain on the night, was shown red for a late challenge on Harry Kane as the Bayern Munich and England striker was striding towards goal.

There were more crowd issues during the game too, when referee Clement Turpin was forced to halt the game in the first half after Ezri Konsa was targeted with a LASER PEN.
