Could you work out this riddle – one of three that Rebecca stumbled on?[/caption]
She has played the role of Manpreet Sharma since 2018[/caption]
The actress, 50, had competed against Jordan Stephens and Les Dennis.
While ascending the Super Catchphrase pyramid, Rebecca faced three difficult riddles.
The first depicted the Mr. Chips character writing at a desk, with piles of paper on either side.
Rebecca guessed “letter of the law” and “pencil” – but the answer turned out to be “Paper Cut”.
The next one showed a woman looking at a menu, pointing at the starters.
Figures depicted bowls of soup which had days of the week written on them.
Rebecca took a stab at “Tuesday starter” and “daily starter”, among others before passing.
She was later left kicking herself when the answer was revealed as “Soup Of The Day”.
With only seconds remaining, Rebecca moved on to another puzzle – but only saw it briefly.
It featured a woman and child making sand castles together on a beach.
Rebecca just barely saw butterflies with watches in the centre appear on screen.
These represented the answer – commonly-used turn of phrase, “Time Flies”.
Having answered earlier puzzles correctly, Rebecca walked away with a combined £8,400 for her charity – which included her fund banked earlier.
Emmerdale co-star, Joe Absolom had a very different outcome on the ITV show.
The soap star, 46, had just seconds left to work out the crucial jackpot puzzle.
Joe made light work of the pyramid – with 29 seconds remaining to answer the £50,000 Catchphrase.
After deliberation – and only four seconds left – the actor correctly answered “One stop shop.”
It meant Joe scooped £50,000 for his charity – as well as £6,700 he won in earlier rounds.
Host Stephen Mulhern said: “Do you know what, that is incredible. Wow, I have never seen it done like that.”
Joe then revealed he couldn’t wait to share the good news with his charity.
He joined the Emmerdale cast this year, playing shady new bad guy Ray Walters.
