The Pedn Olva overlooks Porthminster Beach in St Ives, often named one of the most beautiful beaches in the UK.

The rooftop bar has also been redone[/caption]
The pub closed back in January for the multi-million renovation, with plans to reopen in time for summer.
It has now reopened following the revamp.
A new 10metre bar sits in the middle of the pub, with new ‘snug’ areas and dining room.
Also new is the rooftop deck, which overlooks the beach.
The pub also has its own bedrooms on-site, which have had a makeover as well.
Each of the 27 bedrooms have been refurbished, with all of them having sea views.
Artwork throughout the pub and hotel is mainly created by local artists as well, with painting and sculptures featured.
With the pub being run by St Austell Brewery, guests can expect the minibar to be stocked with the beers too.
Rooms can be found from £185 a night.
Kevin Georgel, Chief Executive, St Austell Brewery, said: “I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved at the Pedn Olva.

“We’ve all missed it during its closure this year, but it’s now a flagship venue once again; a warm, welcoming space for all occasions, whether it’s a leisurely lunch, a celebratory dinner, or simply a drink with a view.”
The Sun’s Catherine Bennion-Pedley visited the restaurant.
She said: “Pedn Olva’s menu is crammed with freshly caught seafood delights.
“With the restaurant overlooking St Ives beach, you can watch the waves crash while tucking into crispy squid, £8, followed by the biggest portion of creamy mussels you’ll ever see, £16.
“Wash it all down with a G&T made using local Tarquin’s gin.”
It’s not just the Cornish beach that has been raved about in St Ives.
The town was named the best UK destination for foodies.
We’ve also rounded up either other UK pubs right on the beach.
