THE former boss of In The Style has broken his silence on a bitter legal battle – and was left in tears over a message from a celebrity friend.

The fashion mogul – whose brand hit a £100million valuation – has opened up like never before on fatherhood, his bitter legal battle, and the collapse of In The Style, on the Paul Brunson ‘We Need To Talk’ podcast.

Adam Frisby is the owner of the brand In The Style and gave fans the ultimate look inside his life, including how the pressure of running a public company pushed him to the edge.

In his most personal interview yet, Adam told Paul: “I started In The Style and the business was valued at £100m.

“When I was 16 my dad was into criminal stuff… drugs, raids – I thought ‘this isn’t how I want my life.’ Celebs got 25% of the profits – not huge stress for them, but a great reward depending on sales.”

Adam also revealed the drama behind leaving the brand: “I shared on social media that I won the court case and cleared my name, but never talked about it.

“I met someone in 2013 when trying to raise money. He later registered In The Style Limited.

“Eight years later, when the business floated on the stock market, I got a legal letter claiming I stole the idea.

“My lawyers laughed, but it became real.”

Adam also got an emotional surprise from best pal and Geordie Shore alum Charlotte Crosby, telling him: “You really do mean the world to me and the girls, and everyone in your life – I know you mean the world to Jamie.”

The reality star had tears streaming down her face as she continued: “Now, you’re the godparent of my children, and now we get to get to go through this life together and have our young kids grow up together.”

Touched by her message, Adam commented: “What you see is what you get with her – that’s why we built a friendship over time because we were so natural with each other, she is really a lovely lady.”

Adam also revealed his secret five-year surrogacy journey with husband Jamie Corbett as they prepare to welcome their first child in January.

But the road hasn’t been easy, with online abuse and death threats testing the couple along the way.

Adam admitted his biggest fear is not being a good dad, reflecting on his own childhood.

He revealed he and Jamie don’t know whose sperm was used or the baby’s gender – “It’s special because it will be a surprise. It really doesn’t matter to us – we are the dads and I love the bones of Jamie.”

Adam addressed the horrific online backlash: “We’ve had over 2,500 comments calling us child abusers, sex traffickers, saying we’re stealing babies… it was awful to read.”

He also opened up about being kicked out of his mum’s house at 15, hiding his sexuality and the shame he carried for years, and the moment he nearly got pulled into a world of crime before choosing a different path.
