Interflora to celebrate September birthdays

The popular flower delivery service, Interflora, is dishing out £1 bouquets throughout the month of September.

Bunches will be available for all the flower lovers whose birthdays fall within this month.

After it was revealed that September is the most popular month to be born in the UK, the company has set its sights on delivering something truly one-of-a-kind to all those celebrating over the next few weeks.

Brand Manager at Interflora, Bethany Day, said: “September may boast the highest number of birthdays, but if your birthday’s one of them, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t feel special.

“With so many celebrating this month, it’s easy to feel like just another number.

“That’s why we’re here – to make sure every September baby feels seen, celebrated and cherished for what makes them feel unique.

“And because all our bouquets are always hand-crafted by our amazing local florists – never mass produced – we’re making sure even the most common birthdays still feel completely personal and one of a kind.”

An Interflora spokesperson added: “September might be the most popular month to be born in in the UK, but that’s no reason for your birthday to blend into the crowd.”

They added that the company hopes to “sprinkle a little extra magic on your big day.”

How to bag a bouquet

If you happen to be a September celebrant you can head to Interflora’s website for a chance to win a birthday bunch.

Once you have put in your birthday details you can then spin to win a hand-crafted, seasonal bouquet for £1.

If successful, you will receive a £1 code and the flowers will then be ready to click and collect from your local florist.

Winners will make a huge saving, with the bouquet being worth £48.

When collecting your bouquet from your local florist, make sure you bring a valid form of ID with you.

The Great Friendship Project

Beyond giving to all the September babies this month, Interflora hopes to help tackle loneliness among young adults this month.

All of the £1 payments will go directly to The Great Friendship Project.

The non-profit charity aims to help combat loneliness among young adults through meaningful, in-person social activities.

So far, the project has helped to connect over 50,000 young people.

An Interflora spokesperson added: “So you are not just getting a beautiful bouquet, you’re helping create real-world connections too.”
