A SEEMINGLY ideal four-bed home has been snapped up, despite having a “comically bad” feature on the landing.
From the outside, though, the large property in Norwich boasts everything a family could want from a house.

However, this perilous staircase has caused quite a stir[/caption]
The home hosts four large bedrooms, a well appointed garden, a home gym and an open kitchen.
The property lies in the sought-after Golden Triangle area of East Anglia and looks perfect from the outside.
It appears to be the perfect buy for a family looking to splash out £750,000 on a new home.
The listing for the idyllic property reads: “Websters Estate Agents are delighted to offer this truly unique and immaculately presented semi-detached home set in a highly sought after location within Norwich’s coveted Golden Triangle.
“The property is well set back form the road and has been upgraded to a high standard throughout whilst benefitting from off street parking and a garage.
“In brief, the property comprises; sitting room, cloakroom, open plan kitchen / diner / family room, utility room, gym area, four light bedrooms, ensuite shower room, family bathroom, boarded loft space with study and a generous tiered rear garden.”
However, despite all of its impressive features, some eagle-eyed house hunters spotted a bizarre addition to the home.
Some viewers describe the odd feature as being dangerous.
Others even joked that the new homeowners may need a safety harness to access part of their home.
A set of stairs made of simple, unconnected wooden planks connect the loft to one of the bedrooms – prompting some people to give the steps a chilling nickname.
Viewers have branded the treacherous staircase as a “death ladder”, with others saying “that can’t be legal”.
A single plank of wood builds the main scaffold of the bizarre staircase.
Smaller planks fixed across the main scaffold create the steps with the resulting staircase looking more like a ladder than stairs.
Speaking about the staircase’s odd construction, one social media user said: “You’re one slapstick moment away from a hilarious death.”
Another added: “Okay I was expecting bad, but that was comically bad.
“They look like the kind of stairs you’d see on one of those ninja warrior game show obstacle courses.”
The news comes after a unassuming terrace house with a shocking secret went up for auction for £100,000.
The home was originally used as a fisherman’s smoke house, before becoming the headquarters of a marquee business called Bloomfield Marquees.
However, the home has a “maze-like” layout which encompasses over 20 rooms.
Only three of these are used as bedrooms, with the others including a bar area, a kitchen, two toilets, three storerooms and a huge entrance lobby.
The house is located in Norwich’s Golden Triangle[/caption]
The property also comes with a big garden[/caption]
