Fuming radio star claims she was dress-coded by airline staff because her ‘boobs were too distracting’

AN Australian radio presenter has slammed Qantas Airways for treating her ‘unfairly’ because of the size of her boobs.

Nova host Nikki Osborne has claimed she was picked on by airline staff – because of her ample bust.

Speaking out on the Ash, Luttsy & Nikki Osborne show, the 44-year-old aired her grievances.

The Aussie star – who appeared on I’m a Celebrity… in 2020 Down Under – said: “If women have cleavage they are treated not as well, that’s my opinion.

“Last week in the Qantas lounge I was told to button up my top because my boobs were too distracting.

“I’m looking at what’s happening and it seems to be anyone who’s got boobs is copping it.”

She continued: “‘I feel like as a collective we’re subjectively objectifying these women.

“We’re subconsciously judging women with bigger boobs… I’m noticing it more and more in a negative way.”

She added: “I think Sydney Sweeney – if she was flat chested – would not be copping everything that she’s copping right now.

“If women have cleavage, they are treated not as well. That’s my opinion.”

Mum-of-two comic Nikki replaced Olympic swimmer Susie O’Neill on Nova’s 106.9 Brisbane breakfast team last December and starred on 2024’s Dancing With the Stars.

The funny woman previously revealed that she met Chris Hemsworth at a charity event in Melbourne back in the early 2000s.

Convinced he had a soft spot for her, she told her radio co-hosts: “I think he was quite flirtatious.

“It felt like he was flirting with me… in my head, I’m going ‘Oh, it’s just another Home And Away himbo.’

“We did exchange Facebook friend requests, that was back when it was private … when you could only have 5000 people, there were no public pages yet,” she said.

“And so we just became friends on Facebook.”

But their friendly relationship soon turned sour when she appeared to joke about his brother Liam’s relationship with Miley Cyrus.

“Then there was trouble in the press between Liam and Miley,” Nikki recalled.

“There was trouble in paradise, and then Chris posted on his private page saying, ‘There’s nothing worse than watching someone you love make the same mistakes over and over.’”

The comedian added: “So because I’m an idiot, I wrote, ‘Ebola. I reckon Ebola’s worse’ … because there was an Ebola breakout, topical, I thought I was being funny.

“He blocked me… I got unfriended. It was probably a little insensitive.

“This is why comedians end up, you know, miserable and alone, because they go for the joke instead of the considered, considerate response.”

Qantas has been contacted for comment.
