GEORDIE Shore star Sophie Kasaei has appeared to have taken a swipe at The Only Way is Essex after filming wrapped for the current series earlier this month.
In the latest episode of the ITV2 show, Saffron Lempriere and Chloe Meadows came to blows as Sophie watched on alongside Harry Derbidge and Becks Bloomberg.

Taking to her Instagram stories to answer fan questions, one follower asked: “How did you feel being in the middle with Saffron and Chloe? Must have been awkward.”
The 35-year-old, who previously looked incredible in a tiny bikini, savagely responded: “I think you’re all forgetting I’ve been on Geordie Shore for 15 years so the arguments on TOWIE and the drama on TOWIE is very tame.
“It’s just another day in the office for me, it’s an absolute breeze compared to Geordie Shore because I’m used to a little bit of hair pulling and physicalness, which isn’t good but it makes good TV.
“Very tame compared to what I’ve witnessed in my 15 years on being on reality TV,” she concluded.
Another fan asked: “How does The Only Way Is Essex compare to Geordie Shore?”
She reiterated: “Very, very tame. Easy as well, a lot easier, the concepts of the show are very different, Geordie Shore you’re living together constantly somewhere for an amount of time.
“When you’re filming TOWIE for a couple of hours a day and then you just go back to your normal life, so it’s just so different and obviously with the Geordie Shore cast, you’re stuck with each other 24 hours a day and with the TOWIE, if you don’t want to film with someone, you don’t have to.
“You don’t really need to be around people you don’t get on with but to be fair on Geordie Shore, we do all get on. I think we’ve all known each other for that long now.
“Very, very different but I do love doing both to be fair, I don’t know any different.”
Sophie, who took a swipe at co-star Ella, joined the rival series back in 2023 alongside boyfriend and main cast member Jordan Brook and has relatively stayed out of the drama.
However, this series, as the gang descended on Portugal, Sophie found herself at odds with Freddie Bentley and Ella Rae Wise, with the latter calling her “desperate” and “irrelevant”.
Sophie previously sparked concerns she was leaving TOWIE after she told fans she would be starting a “new chapter” as she heads to Athens for fertility treatment.
The Newcastle beauty showed off her stunning look for the Towie final, wearing a light blue and white sequin cut-out dress.
She wrote: “Over and out Towie! What a heavy start of the year it’s been, finished Geordie filming in May, went straight into Towie for three months.
“Now only a few green screens left to film but now it’s time to step back from the chaos and get healthy and prepared to head to get our treatments in Athens and keep making them steps closer to having a beautiful family one day.”
Sophie then posted a black-and-white photo of her and Jordan looking loved up and sweetly wrote: “Now onto the next chapter.”
But fans don’t need to worry as Sophie is not leaving the Essex show and set to return after the filming break.
It comes after it was revealed in May that Sophie had quit Geordie Shore.
Sophie, who has been a staple on the hit reality show on-and-off since its 2011 debut, walked away due to an ongoing pay dispute with MTV.
The reality star had been in negotiations with the network for several months, hoping to secure a pay rise that reflected her longstanding contribution to the show.
However, despite numerous discussions and back-and-forth, the two sides ultimately couldn’t reach an agreement.
A source told The Sun: “Sophie had been in discussions about a pay rise with MTV for months, but in the end, they couldn’t agree on a figure.
“Sophie decided to walk away as she felt she was worth more than they were offering – she has been on the show for a long time and brings a lot to the table.
“There was a lot of back and forth, and in the end, negotiations stalled.
“Sophie was gutted as she was really keen to come back, but she doesn’t want to undersell herself.”
Despite this, as the Geordie gang were spotted filming in Portugal, Sophie returned with Jordan in tow, as they were seen on their co-stars’ Instagram stories.
