Acosta’s bike skidded along the track before bouncing up off the gravel towards one of the camera stands.

And the cameraman manning the stand, who was filming the other side of the track, narrowly escaped being hit by the bike as it crashed into the expensive bit of kit.

MotoGP‘s official X account shared a clip of the incredible scene.

Their accompanying caption read: “Our cameraman, Joao, avoiding @37_pedroacosta’s bike impact is probably the most shocking video you’ll see today!”

“We’re so glad to see he’s ok!”

Footage of the incredible scene went viral and stunned viewers.

One wrote on X: “That must be scary. Hope he’s okay.”
