‘He’s not forgiving this’ – Dana White’s stunned reaction to Khamzat Chimaev calling UFC belt ‘s***’ goes viral

DANA WHITE did not know how to react when maverick middleweight Khamzat Chimaev dissed his UFC belt.

The Russian-Emirati fighter had just won the middleweight belt from incumbent champion Dricus du Plessis.

But rather than elation, it was derision that Chimaev directed at the belt, with White standing right behind him in the octagon as he went on his odd rant.

When Chimaev was interviewed in the octagon after his win via judges’ decision, he had one clear message for the UFC president.

He took the microphone and looked around for the American, before saying: “Get my money. Dana, send my money brother.

“I am waiting for that more than that s*** belt.”

Perhaps sensing the shock in the crowd, he caveated his comments immediately by saying: “Well, belt is important for my country.”

Fans of the UFC were decisively not impressed by the antics of the notoriously slow and methodical fighter.

One X user said: “‘Biting the hand that feeds you’ is never good for the future of the biter. That’s going to cost him a lot of future earnings.

“Especially considering that watching one of his fights is like watching a bridge rust.”

Another commented: “Man why would you say that? Those are thoughts you keep to yourself after getting the title opportunity!”

Another fan pointed out that White is essentially in control of Chimaev’s place in the UFC and whether or not he is allowed to fight.

They said: “This is a masterclass in unemployment folks.

“Take notes, because you could not achieve better results for being unemployed than this. A fast track approach, but super effective.”

The flawless 15-0 fighter was booed by the crowd as he finally secured his belt at the United Center in Chicago, USA.
