Home Bargains will be remaining open on August 25, 2025, so customers can do some shopping on their day off.
However, most locations will be operating under reduced hours.
The chain only closes fully on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday, as there are laws requiring large shops to close on these holidays.
The chain normally opens its doors at 8am and closes again at 8pm, but check in-store to see if your branch will adjust its hours, or you can use Home Bargains’ store locator tool.
The August Bank Holiday often sees shoppers flocking to stores to buy items including gardenware and BBQs, as they enjoy the warmer weather.
