The unique bar is strawberry flavoured with a pistachio nut creme candy floss filling.
Complete with colourful pink packaging, the chocolate by confectionery company Miskets, is inspired by the viral angel hair trend.
Retailing for £3.49 per 90g bar, the chocolate offers a “multi-textured” experience.
The product description reads: “The Miskets Angel Hair Chocolate Bar offers a whimsical, multi-textured experience: a strawberry-chocolate shell enveloping creamy pistachio and delicate spun sugar.”
It adds: “Indulge in the delicate sweetness of Miskets Angel Hair Chocolate Bar, a simple yet delightful treat in a handy 90g size.
“Perfect for a quick chocolate fix anytime!”
Customers have been quick to share their excitement online with Home Bargains‘ announcement video amassing hundreds of likes and comments.
One user wrote: “So unique!”
While another added: “The excitement in this post is contagious!”
However, the new angel hair phenomenon has divided chocolate fans.
The Sun reported earlier this year that some shoppers have been left disgusted by this latest craze.
This came after Morrisons launched an angel hair chocolate bar that left many customers repulsed.
One wrote: “Eww are you meant to eat that?”
Another chimed in, asking: “Is that supposed to be edible? It looks awful!”
Some shoppers even questioned whether the retailer’s announcement post was a late April Fools Day joke.
But while some are repulsed, other chocolate fans have been quick to jump on the hype train.
Foodies have been raving about the pink chocolate by Tucho Bar.
The angel hair chocolate bar is said to be “delicious,” featuring a “dreamy fusion of floss candy chocolate” which resembles “angel hair.”
One fan, Carmie Sellitto, known as @touchdalight on TikTok, described the taste as “incredible.”
Speaking to his 933,000 TikTok followers, he said: “I’ve never ever tried anything like this chocolate before.”
He added: “The best chocolate I’ve ever had in my life.”
Some viewers couldn’t believe what the angel hair part looked like, with one describing it as resembling “loft insulation.”
Another referred to it as “cotton candy chocolate.”
How to save money on chocolate
We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don’t have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…
Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for the supermarket’s own brand bars.
Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.
Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.
They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.
Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.
So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
