Horse racing tips: ‘Strong stayer to strike on debut for new trainer’ – In-form Templegate’s Tuesday NAP

TEMPLEGATE tackles Tuesday’s action confident of building the bank for the St Leger and Irish Champions festivals this weekend.

Back a horse by clicking their odds.

And don’t forget there is no racing in Britain on Wednesday due to the sport going on-strike.

Our in-form tipster – who netted punters thousands with back-to-back 1,180-1 and 265-1 winners last weekend – will return on Thursday for the first day from Doncaster.

MAXIDENT (6.55 Ffos Las, nap)

Is all about stamina and can strike on his debut for new trainer Kevin Philippart De Foy. He showed his liking for this sort of test when beaten in a tight finish over course and distance last time out. He cut out the running there and fought back bravely once headed to go down by just a length. This should be even more of a test in heavy ground and that can bring out the best in him.

BRIELLE (4.55 Leicester, nb)

Won at Hamilton before showing lots of promise when sixth on handicap debut at York last time. That was a hotter contest than this and this trip brought out improvement. There’s more to come off a fair mark.

PUNCHBOWL FLYER (4.50 Ffos Las, treble)

Went down in a head-bobber at Chepstow on soft ground last week and is back from the same mark with a massive chance.

MAASAI MATA (3.10 Catterick, Lucky 15)

Has been knocking on the door and was in a blanket finish at Beverley last time. She is capable of winning in this grade.
