Huge blaze breaks out in house ‘used as cannabis factory’ with 80 firefighters called to tackle flames

A FIRE has broken out at a suspected cannabis factory in a two-storey house.

Around 80 firefighters and twelve fire engines rushed to the home in Walthamstow, east London, after calls were placed about the devastating blaze shortly before 3am.

London Fire Brigade said the property was a “suspected cannabis factory” and that most of its ground floor, half of the first floor and half of the roof had been destroyed by the inferno.

The fire is understood to now be under control
