I bought a cute bath bomb for a pamper night but was horrified with how it looked wet – I belly laughed for 10 minutes

A RELAXING soak in the tub didn’t go quite to plan for one shopper after a bath bomb left her bath looking rather grim indeed.

Hoping for a calming pamper night, Marika dropped the quirky otter-shaped bath bomb into her tub, only to be left in stitches when she saw the result.

What had looked like a cute novelty fizzler ended up resembling something far less appealing after a few minutes in the water.

Instead of creating a soothing spa-like atmosphere, the bath bomb fizzed away until the water looked murky and rather like a brown turd.

The bather admitted she couldn’t stop laughing, saying she “belly laughed for ten minutes” at the sight of her tub, but confessed she didn’t exactly feel like getting in afterwards.

On her @marie9440 account, she explained: “Here I thought I would make a cute bomb bath video but I quickly realised the shape and colour wouldn’t look like an otter for long.”

Shoppers online were quick to join in the joke, with many agreeing that while it might have looked funny, it wasn’t exactly the most relaxing start to a pamper night.

One person wrote: “Rule number one: never buy brown bathbombs.”

A second added: “Usually I flush mine.”

And a third commented: “Whoever made this bath bomb is DIABOLICAL.”

However, one person said: “I feel like you could have easily seen that happening tho”, to which Marika replied: “Yeah I should have.”

It’s not known where she found the Otter bath bomb, but last year one from Lush raised eyebrows.

SALTBOMB

Lush is known for its cheeky sense of humour and amazing collaborations – and they showed this by bringing out a ‘Saltburn themed bath bomb’.

The limited edition Saltbomb promises to create salty, milky bathwater fit for a Hollywood A-lister.

And it takes a tongue-in-cheek swipe at the now infamous bath scene with Barry Keoghan in the Emerald Fennel movie.

It’s a mineral-rich bomb blended with soothing coconut milk powder and a fragrance it shares with the brand’s moisturising bubble bar, ‘Milky Bath’.

Previously, Fabulous toured around the famous Lush headquarters, where they made 40million bath bombs a year.
