That’s not all, Rio was also able to nab exclusive beach club access and gym classes for free[/caption]

And while Dubai has a reputation for being expensive, Rio revealed she had a very different experience.

Taking to social media, Rio, who had been living in Dubai for just five weeks claimed it was cheaper than she was expecting.

She said: “Things that I have been surprised about since living in Dubai.”

Rio revealed that almost everything can be free for women while living there.

And no, it wasn’t through dating rich men, she said there were plenty of Whatsapp groups with event promoters and restaurant owners asking them to dine in for free in return for posting on social media.

Not only did this account for a nice brunch spot, she was also able to get dinner at Michelin star restaurants and visit exclusive beach clubs for free.

She was also stunned to see that groceries can cost the same amount as shopping in Aldi.

“The food in the pic is from Viva & it was soooo cheap!” she wrote.

“Honestly, the same price as Aldi, it looked just like Aldi too lol it didn’t have branded food it was like their own produce.”

Rio also said that while housing was the same price, you often got better living conditions and fancier apartments than in England.

In the comments, Rio revealed some of the apps and Whatsapp groups she uses to secure free meals, beach clubs and even gym classes.

She said: “Apps are Portl, La Dolce Vita & Secret Society. WhatsApp groups are Sam’s Entertainment for food/drinks/leisure & We Are Sota for gym classes.”

The clip went viral on her TikTok account @rioellenn with over 103k views and 4,700 likes.

People were quick to take to the comments, many eager to join Rio in Dubai after she shared her life.

One person wrote: “Moving in 4 months, can’t wait.”

Another commented: “Brilliant, well done, enjoy. Moving away is great, make sure you learn the local language.”

Moving house hacks

1. Declutter Before You Pack

Sort through your belongings and get rid of anything you no longer need. Donate, sell, or recycle items to lighten your load.

2. Create an Inventory

Make a list of all your items. This helps keep track of everything and ensures nothing gets lost in the move.

3. Use Quality Packing Materials

Invest in sturdy boxes, bubble wrap, and packing tape. This will protect your belongings during the move.

4. Label Everything

Clearly label each box with its contents and the room it belongs to. This makes unpacking much easier and more organized.

5. Pack a ‘First Day’ Box

Include essentials like toiletries, a change of clothes, snacks, and important documents. This will keep you from rummaging through boxes on your first day.

6. Take Photos of Electronics Setup

Before unplugging your electronics, take photos of the wiring setup. This will make it easier to reconnect everything at your new place.

7. Use Suitcases for Heavy Items

Pack books and other heavy items in rolling suitcases. This makes them easier to transport and reduces the risk of injury.

8. Colour-Code Your Boxes

Use different coloured stickers or markers for each room. This will help movers quickly identify where each box should go in your new home.

“Enjoy every second girl, followed for all your tips,” penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “Ok you’ve convinced me.”

“Ok this is my sign to go,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “Agree with the free things for women. Female privilege is rife in Dubai.”
