PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix deal has been extended, and bosses are hoping they can spill more on the royal family, according to experts.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are in talks with Netflix producers on what they can come up with to make the contract worthwhile.

And it seems there is one subject they are eager for Harry to go on the record with – his late mother, Princess Diana.
Speaking on this week’s The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show, royal journalist Phil Dampier said he’s sure Prince Harry will be open to participating in a documentary.
He said: “I think Netflix will bite his arm off for this one.”
“It would be very interesting to get his take on his mother,” he added. “It won’t go down very well with the king or with Prince William.
“I think they’ll be absolutely horrified and Prince of Wales will particularly think that his mother’s being exploited when he wants to sort of leave that all behind him.”
The new Netflix deal, which was announced this month, gives Netflix first refusal on any of the couple’s suggestions, while covering their Archewell Productions’ overheads including its office and staff costs.
Although the 30th anniversary is still two years away, telly executives would need to begin planning a show within the next six months, something the royal expert can see Prince Harry signing off on.
He explained: “I can see him doing this. I think, A, it would be a massive money spinner, and, B, Harry will probably treat it as some sort of therapy.
“He’ll convince himself that it’s therapy for him. He’s getting a lot of things off his chest and putting his truth out there about what happened to his mother, how it devastated him as a young boy.

Commentator Samara Gill also agreed but had concerns that Prince Harry and Meghan would make it about them, rather than Princess Diana.
She added: “Diana’s story is a very sensitive and coveted story to tell and I think Harry and Meghan will absolutely butcher it with their own lens.
“I really think that it could be a potential disaster because they will tell their side.”
The royal commentator revealed this would be the nail in the coffin to solidify Prince Harry and William’s broken relationship.
She added: “I keep saying this, but it will probably be the final nail in the coffin for William.
How Meghan and Harry are investing their Netflix millions
HARRY and Meghan have begun investing their Netflix millions in a property portfolio.
They have bought a new home in Portugal, around the corner from Harry’s cousin Princess Eugenie and her husband.
But the Sussexes, who have been spending an increasing amount of time apart, do not plan to live in their new pad, The Sun understands.
It is not known if the property will be rented out, used for Airbnb-style holiday lets or used purely to park money.
But it is seen as the first step of putting earnings from their TV and book deals into a global property empire.
“They’re being smart with their money,” a source said.
They pocketed £75million from streaming giant Netflix where they laid into fellow royals in a six-part series.
Meanwhile Harry, who got a £15million advance for his autobiography Spare, also inherited £8million from the late Queen Mother after turning 40 in September.
Palace insiders have been concerned about what will happen when the Sussexes run out of cash.
They have huge overheads, forking out a fortune on security in the US and for when Harry visits the UK.
And they are still paying a mortgage on the £11million Montecito mansion they bought after quitting as working royals in 2020.
Insiders say the Portugal home will be part of a financial portfolio which will include more real estate.
“Diana’s story has been so paraded out and used and abused and then for your own son to go and capitalise off that, with his craven wife, that’s the pinnacle for me.”
It seems to be the perfect timing as well, as Princess Diana passed away in 1997, meaning the 30th anniversary of her death will take place soon.
Harry, who was 12 when Diana died in a car crash in Paris in 1997, has often spoken about his mother and the impact her death had on him.
He has told of the trauma he felt walking behind his her coffin and wrote about his father breaking the news to him in his memoir, Spare.
In the book, Harry also revealed he had visited a medium, who told him that “your mother is with you”.
The psychic said: “Your mother says, ‘You’re living the life she couldn’t. You’re living the life she wanted for you’.”
In 2007, Harry and brother William attended the Concert for Diana at Wembley ahead of the 10th anniversary of their mother’s death.
And they visited floral tributes left outside the gates at Kensington Palace for the 20th anniversary in 2017.
