I paid £150 to hire a boyfriend for the day – we held hands & fed each other food, it’s pricey but I could get addicted

MAINTAINING a healthy, loving relationship can be a time-consuming task, so one woman has decided to ditch commitment and just hire a boyfriend out for the day instead.

Sarah, who is originally from Australia but now lives in Tokyo, revealed that life can get lonely living in a city with 37 million residents, but she has come up with an unusual solution.

After being single for around a year, she came across a website where you can rent a boyfriend, and became instantly attracted to 26-year-old Narumi.

On his profile, Narumi lists his interests as fashion, men’s makeup and riding his motorbike, and Sarah rented him out for two hours, which cost her £150.

As well as this, she also had to pay for everything the duo did on the date, making this a very pricey endeavour.

Ahead of their date, Narumi buttered up his client with flirty text messages, addressing her as “my honey”, and “my queen”.

“This guy knows how to flatter me”, she shared, in a video posted to her YouTube channel @seerasan.

Sarah was instantly impressed by her rental boyfriend’s sense of style, and went shy and giggly when he took her hand.

The pair then headed out on a romantic lunch, with Narumi constantly flattering his “girlfriend” by calling her sweet pet names.

They dined in Sarah’s “dream date location’”, and fed each other food, whilst laughing and joking together.

During their date, Narumi revealed to Sarah that he has been a rental boyfriend since January 2024, and usually dates around 10 girls a month.

He added that he is mostly hired out by university students, or by married women.

“This is a service, so it’s not cheating”, Narumi told Sarah, who’s jaw dropped to the floor at the revelation.

Narumi hasn’t told his friends or family that he is a rental boyfriend, and does his job “secretly”.

However, he does promote his services on social media, so has been caught out by a few shocked friends.

Being a rental boyfriend isn’t Narumi’s only career, but he does it so much, it’s almost like a 9-5 job.
