A SELF-PROCLAIMED “benefit Queen” has taken a brutal swipe at those with 9 to 5 jobs.
Ebony Wood, 26, who lives in a council property and described herself as a “UK villain,” claimed that those who work are “dumb.”
A mother has described herself as a “benefit Queen” and claimed she gets paid to do nothing[/caption]
Instead of being employed, the mother boasted that she gets paid “double” in Universal Credit.
Not only does she supposedly not have to answer to a boss or give up eight hours of her day, but she claimed that instead, she gets to sit on her bum and watch Loose Women.
Posting on social media, the content creator, who has previously been accused of posting rage bait content online – content specifically designed to provoke anger, outrage, or other strong negative emotions to increase engagement – filmed herself outside a Jobcentre.
Alongside her clip, she clapped back to taxpayers and wrote: “POV: You’re working 40 hours a week while I get paid more to stay home.”
She then said: “If you work a 9 to 5, you’re gonna love what I gotta say – listen, I deserve benefits full stop.
“I didn’t ask to be born so why should I work? You get me?”
The single mother, who previously claimed to be receiving £4,000 a month from the government, claimed: “I get double sat on my bum watching Loose Women.”
Not only this, but the benefits recipient also snapped: “Respectfully, if you work, you’re dumb.”
Following this, Ebony, who previously begged strangers to fund her boob job, claimed that her social media viewers have ”mass reported” her to DWP [Department for Work and Pensions] – a UK government department responsible for welfare, pensions and child maintenance policy.
Unbothered, Ebony wore a crop top and leggings, as she stuck her middle fingers up.
She also danced outside the Jobcentre – an organisation that helps people find and maintain employment.

Despite this, she carelessly acknowledged: “[I’m] officially the UK’s top villain.”
Social media users rage
Ebony’s TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ebonywooduc, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 47,800 views, 215 likes and 101 comments.
Am I entitled to Universal Credit?
According to the GOV website, if you’re on a low income or need help with your living costs, then you could be entitled to Universal Credit.
To claim, you must live in the UK, be aged 18 or over (with some exceptions if you’re 15 to 17), be under State Pension age, and have £16,000 or less in money, savings and investments.
Other circumstances are if you are out of work, or unable to work, for example because of a health condition.
Not only did people call Ebony “disgusting” and “arrogant,” but many were fuming by her claims and said she should be “ashamed.”
One person said: “You should be ashamed of yourself, you don’t deserve any benefit whatsoever.”
Another added: “Time to get a job. No more Loose Women.”
Whilst a third commented: “Benefits life is not living…”
