I’m A Celeb legend signs up for All Stars – after snubbing Strictly Come Dancing

OLYMPIAN Sir Mo Farah is set to sprint on to I’m A Celebrity All Stars.

Joining the South Africa spin-off will make for a whole new experience for Sir Mo, 42, as his first stint in Ant and Dec’s camp was during the pandemic series in Gwrych Castle, Wales.

The show will air next year

The Team GB hero came fifth to winner Giovanna Fletcher, runner-up Jordan North and third placed Vernon Kay in 2020.

The long-distance runner hinted he had chosen to join the VIP series over this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.

A source said: “Mo is very competitive so is definitely out to win this time round.

“He’s excited to experience a different side of I’m A Celeb as obviously the castle series were dramatically different to Oz.

“The sunny camps bring with them new problems, but he’s feeling excited for the challenge.”

Mo won 5,000 and 10,000m golds at the London and Rio de Janeiro Olympicsin 2012 and 2016.

He had hinted earlier this year that he’d been invited to join BBC dance show Strictly.

Mo is in advanced talks with ITV about signing for legends’ series second run, due to be filmed in rugged Kruger National Park in South Africa this Autumn and will air next year.

The line-up will also include ex-football manager Harry Redknapp, 78 – crowned King of the Jungle in 2018 – soap star Adam Thomas and former Towie star Gemma Collins, 44, who lasted only three days in 2014.

The first all-star version in 2023 saw the returns of Myleene Klass, Helen Flanagan, Jordan Banjo and Carol Vorderman.

It was one of the biggest entertainment shows of 2023, averaging 5.2m viewers per episode.

I’m A Celebrity’s regular run will return as normal to Australia this November.

Adam Thomas, who came third in 2018, is also rumoured to return after losing out to Scarlett Moffatt and Joel Dommett
