I’m a Ukrainian girl living in the UK – trolls assume I’m on benefits and don’t pay taxes but don’t know the half of it

A UKRAINIAN girl living in the UK has confidently hit back at trolls who make nasty assumptions about her.

Natalie, who is originally from Eastern Europe, revealed that haters accuse her of living on Universal Credit.

Even worse, according to Natalie, people have even gone as far to claim she doesn’t pay taxes.

But eager to set the record straight and silence keyboard warriors, the blonde beauty took to social media to share a typical day in her very busy life.

As Natalie started her day by getting ready and making a coffee, she said: “I am [a] Ukrainian in [the] UK who [is] claiming benefits and not paying taxes – that’s what you are saying about me and many more Ukrainians who actually work here and pay taxes more than many English people.”

Natalie then shared the “proof” about what she really gets up to – and not only does she have a Vinted platform that earns her money, but she also has a full-time job too.

She added: “My day starts with work on my Vinted shop – I sell original Paul Smith brand new shoes, then I’m getting ready to go to my car sales job.”

Natalie claimed that while some people would “run home” after work, things are just getting started for her.

The content creator continued: “My working day has not finished – going to gym to make sure I look fit.”

The aspiring influencer, who hopes to earn cash through the platform’s Creator Fund, is even a multi-tasker whilst exercising.

“While on a treadmill, I will be editing my TikTok because one day it will bring me money,” she explained.

After her gym session, Natalie returned home to cook her dinner.

Once this was done, she then cleaned her pad before doing some additional work on her Vinted shop, which involved taking pictures and packing orders.

Following this, as she got into bed, she continued: “When it’s about 11pm I have time for myself – what would you say, do the Ukrainians work hard enough?”

Am I entitled to Universal Credit?

According to the GOV website, if you’re on a low income or need help with your living costs, then you could be entitled to Universal Credit.

To claim, you must live in the UK, be aged 18 or over (with some exceptions if you’re 15 to 17), be under State Pension age, and have £16,000 or less in money, savings and investments.

Other circumstances are if you are out of work, or unable to work, for example because of a health condition.

Natalie’s TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @natalie.tells, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 46,000 views, 2,212 likes and 83 comments.

Social media users eagerly raced to the comments to praise Natalie, with many calling her a “grafter.”
