Neil Robertson is the reigning champion after a 9-7 win over Wu Yize in last year’s final.

The action from the Brentwood Centre gets underway on Thursday, September 11 before the seeds enter on Tuesday, September 16.
It is the first of the four Home Nations events this season and there is a £100,000 cheque waiting for the winner.

The Rocket grew up just a couple of miles down the road from the venue in Chigwell.
But he has decided to sit out his hometown tournament to the disappointment of fans.
No explanation has yet been released for his absence.
It is not the first time the seven-time world champion has skipped an event this year after he withdrew from the Wuhan Open last month for “medical reasons”.
His last appearance at the baize came in a thriller on August 16 when he lost the Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters final to Robertson 10-9.
O’Sullivan won the English Open title in 2017.
