GULLIVER’S theme parks have dropped super early bird tickets for its Land of Lights show this winter, which will take place across three locations in England.

With ticket prices for Christmas light trails reaching upwards of £30 per person, this is the most affordable event we’ve spotted on offer this autumn.

The event started at the Milton Keynes theme park, but has since spread to all three locations – Milton Keynes, Warrington and Rotherham – from mid-October to early March.

It’s the first time the visitors can see the light trail at Gulliver’s Valley Resort, which sits between Rotherham and Sheffield.

Each year, the event has a different theme, with numerous ‘dreamworlds’ featuring various characters such as mythical creatures and classical literature icons set to music, along a mile-long path.

Visitors can expect to see glowing dinosaurs, giant light sculptures and “magical portals into dreamworlds”.

There will be dog-friendly nights, free parking and food available at each park.

Last year, the Milton Keynes trail boasted more than 7,000 lanterns and over 63,000 LED lights.

The usual ticket price costs from £21 per person, but for a limited time tickets cost from just £10 per person for both adults and children – – book here.

For an additional £4.50, visitors can also opt for a marshmallow toasting kit to enjoy a warm treat whilst exploring the trail.

Visitors can also get tickets that include park entry as well as the light trail, from £39 per person.

There are a number of popular light trails across the UK that take place over the winter months including Christmas at Kew and The Illuminated Trail at Blenheim Palace.

Land of Lights features different ‘dreamworlds’ with mythical creatures and animals[/caption]

Christmas at Kew in Richmond, west London, has one of the UK’s longest light trails stretching over two miles long, with laser lights and rides too.

At Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, visitors can explore gardens with lit fountains and trees, as well as a Christmas market and ice skating rink.

Alternatively, in Wiltshire you could head to The Festival of Light at Longleat, with adult tickets costing £34.95 and child tickets £26.20 and tie it in with a trip to the safari park.

In Scotland, Christmas at the Royal Botanical Garden in Edinburgh is also bringing back its hugely popular light trail, which also features an appearance from Santa.

Or alternatively, apy at visit to the Winter Lights at the Alnwick Garden in Northumberland, and and have a pitstop at Lilidorei – the world’s largest play structure.

Despite being smaller than many of the other light trails, entry to the Winter Lights allows visitors to explore both The Alnwick Garden and the Lilidorei attraction included in the price.
