M25 closed over crash as rush hour drivers face SIX miles of traffic and 90-minute delays

THE M25 has been closed following a collision, leading to significant delays this morning.

The orbital motorway is shut anti-clockwise within Junction 17 at Maple Cross near Chorleywood, Hertfordshire, due to a crash, National Highways said.

This has led to “an hour and a half delay on approach”, the traffic agency warned.

Earlier this morning, National Highways said: “The M25 in Hertfordshire is closed anti-clockwise within J17 (near Maple Cross) due to a multi-vehicle collision.

“All emergency services are in attendance.”
