MasterChef fans rejoice as TV star and chef is confirmed to replace Gregg Wallace on the next series

MASTERCHEF fans are thrilled as a familiar TV star has been lined up to replace Gregg Wallace on MasterChef: The Professionals.

Aside from the regular and celebrity editions, Gregg judged the pro spin-off prior to his axing earlier this year.

Saturday Kitchen’s Matt Tebbutt will replace Gregg on Professionals[/caption]

Taking to Instagram, the show’s account confirmed Saturday Kitchen‘s Matt Tebbutt will replace him on the show.

The post captioned: “We’re delighted to announce that @matt.tebbutt is joining @marcuswareing and @galettigram as a judge on the next series of #MasterChefTheProfessional.”

Welcome to the #MasterChefUK family, Matt.”

One fan wrote: “We love Matt. You only realise how good he is on Sat Kitchen when he isn’t there and someone else fills in.”
