The 34-year-old thug fails to stop, even as the officer loses his footing and is dragged to the ground.
More footage reveals Berry smashing into a parked vehicle just seconds later.
The shocking scenes unfolded in Workington, Cumbria, on June 19.
Two police officers later used their tasers through the van’s window to stop Berry from fleeing.
The injured officer told Carlisle Crown Court he had feared for his life, terrified he would be run over.
He was left with cuts and grazes to his hand, arm and a leg.
The court heard they had followed Berry in their patrol car after spotting him behind the wheel.
They approached his vehicle as he came to a stop and the officer leant into the driver’s side to take his keys.
Berry, who has 69 previous offences on his record, admitted dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and uninsured, and an actual bodily harm assault on the officer.
Judge Nicholas Barker told the defendant: “You lost control of your vehicle and as [the officer] fell to the ground he was in great jeopardy.
“The vehicle could have collided with him or driven over him.”
Judge Barker jailed Berry for 16 months and imposed a 36-month driving ban.
He will not be allowed to drive independently until he has passed an extended test.
“You have an appalling driving record,” remarked the judge.
As the case finished, Berry said: “I just want to apologise to [the injured officer].”
This comes after shocking footage elsewhere showed a brazen driver speeding through red lights at 85mph in a 30mph zone with cops in hot pursuit.
Kion Carter-Adams dodged police cars for over 30 miles between Kent and southeast London in a rush-hour pursuit.
