NCIS icon Mark Harmon, 73, looks totally unrecognizable on rare public outing for ice cream with wife Pam Dawber

MARK Harmon has been spotted on a very rare public outing with his wife, actress Pam Dawber.

In The U.S. Sun’s exclusive photos, NCIS legend Mark, 73, grins ear to ear as he picks up ice cream with his wife of 38 years in Los Angeles.

As Pam, also 73, held her soft serve cone, Mark shared a laugh and hopped into the driver’s side of his truck with a milkshake after their Sunday, August 24 date.

Though he was famous for his salt and pepper hair on TV, his locks and eyebrows appeared to be completely white in the latest spotting.

Mark went casual in navy shorts, sneakers and a plaid button-down shirt.

Stunning as ever, Pam held her hair in a low bun and showed off her fit figure in khaki cargo pants.

Mark has been staying out of the spotlight since 2021, when he left his role as Special Agent Gibbs after 18 years.

Despite his retirement, he made a cameo on Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan’s sequel Freakier Friday, 22 years after starring in the original film.

In both films, he played Ryan, the husband of Jamie’s character Tess.

Fans continue to ask Mark if he will ever return to NCIS, and the answer appears to be “never say never.”

“It wasn’t so much a decision to leave, but the right timing to push away a little bit,” he told TVLine in 2024.

“I was thrilled with the storyline they came up with and how they handled the character. And the show continued on.”

When asked if he will appear on the series’ eventual finale, he responded: “I don’t know. It’s really about feeling like you’re fulfilled with a role, or complete with a role.”

HAPPILY EVER AFTER

Though Mark’s role NCIS came to an end, his role as husband is as strong as ever.

Mark and actress Pam married in 1987, and the couple shares two now-adult sons together, Sean and Ty.

Sean is now an actor and stuntman, and Ty is a screenwriter.

After slowing down her career in recent years, Pam- who rose to fame as the lead in Mork & Mindy opposite the late Robin Williams- returned to TV opposite her husband on NCIS in 2021.

She played journalist Marcie Warren for seven episodes on Mark’s final season.

Mark has said he was able to juggle his NCIS role and fatherhood easily.

“The decision to do NCIS is because I was traveling a lot doing movies and other things and I was trying to stay home more with a young family,” he said.

“It was important to be able to make pancakes on Saturday morning.”
