The new addition to the Bailey’s lineup is a chocolate truffle with a refreshing mint flavour.
Its eye-catching green packaging has already been spotted by eagle-eyed shoppers on social media.
The user who made the incredible discovery took to Facebook to tell others.
They posted the find on the Food Finds UK Official group – and the picture was met with a flurry of eager reactions.
One user bluntly replied: “Where? I need.”
Another said: “Does it say how much they are please.”
Prompting another to reply: “£4.75.”
Meanwhile another user chimed in saying: “Please.”
A fresh twist
The revolutionary new snack is a refreshing twist on the brands Milk Chocolate Truffles – which are currently selling at B&M for £3.65.
But fans of Bailey’s are bound to love the new mint twist which gives the chocolates a bright edge compared to the classic version.
The brand has previously launched festive favourites such as Bailey’s Hot Chocolate Bombs and Bailey’s Chocolate Reindeers.
But the mint truffles mark one of the first times the liqueur brand has taken inspiration from traditional after-dinner mints.
B&M is a fan-favourite hotspot for unusual and limited-edition treats, often attracting food fans hunting for new finds.
Bailey’s, owned by drinks giant Diageo, has been expanding its confectionery range in recent years to appeal to younger consumers.
Christmas is coming…
The Irish cream brand is a staple at Christmas time, with shoppers stocking up on bottles and chocolate gifts for the festive season.
The price tag of £4.75 places the chocolates in line with other premium boxed sweets, but fans say the Bailey’s name makes them worth it.
The new flavour is expected to sell quickly as the festive season approaches, with limited availability in B&M stores.
Shoppers are being urged to check local branches soon if they want to snap up the minty twist on a Bailey’s classic.
It comes as shoppers spot tubs of festive favourites like Cadbury Roses, Heroes and Quality Street already stacked on shelves in major supermarkets.
Chocolate lovers have already seen Roses, Heroes, Celebrations and Quality Street tubs lining shelves in Tesco and Morrisons.
How to save money on chocolate
We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don’t have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…
Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for the supermarket’s own brand bars.
Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.
Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.
They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.
Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.
So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
