New product to prevent ‘saggy thighs’ leaves people yelling ‘we’re just human’ as they plead with others not to buy it

FROM hair dye to eyelash extensions, and acrylic nails to fake tan – we’re all guilty of using beauty enhancements on occasion.

Especially if it helps us get rid of an insecurity.

Once removed, the tape is virtually invisible, but people were divided as to whether or not they agreed with the product[/caption]

Once the shorts were pulled down, the tape could no longer be seen, but the thigh looked smooth and taut[/caption]

But one company has been accused of taking things to a worrying new level with a product designed to combat “saggy and loose” thighs.

The Instalift “utilises specially designed skin lift tape to compress and lift loose skin, creating a slimming and sculpting effect instantly”.

It comes in a pack of 10 for £19.99, and can be used on various parts of the body – from the arms to the stomach.

But it was a TikTok video advert for the tape showing how effective it can be on the legs that has sparked fury from some people.

The clip showed a woman putting one end of the tape on her thigh, and securing it firmly to the skin.

She then pulled the tape tightly, and attached the other end higher up – leading to the skin beneath being pulled tightly too.

Once she’d got it in the right position, she pulled down the leg of her shorts, with the tape completely concealed beneath.

“The viral leg lift you’ve seen all over the internet,” the TikTok video was captioned.

“Smooth, lift, and shape instantly — so you can feel confident in shorts, skirts, and dresses again.”

And while some people quickly headed to the website to snap the product up, others took aim at The Instalift manufacturers in the comments section.

“We need to normalise being normal and natural,” one person wrote.

“All these things just enhance insecurities based on mindset and ridiculous social standards.”

“Stop, we’re just humans!” another added.

“Dear lord,” a third sighed.

“God forbid we have normal bodies!”

“CAN I EXIST IN PEACE PLEASE?” someone else shouted.

Common Causes of Saggy Boobs

Gravity: Over time, the constant pull of gravity can cause the ligaments in the boobs to stretch and sag, especially in larger ones

Smoking: Smoking reduces blood supply to the skin, leading to a loss of elasticity and premature sagging

Lack of Support: Not wearing a properly fitting bra, especially during exercise, can lead to stretching of breast tissue and ligaments

Weight gain and loss: Changes in body weight can spark changes to the fatty tissue in the breasts, making them more prone to sagging

“Girls, just ask yourself, do I really need it, for Gods sake?!” another commented.

“Please girls don’t do that..nothing bad or shameful just to be yourself, it’s normal conditions, legs, arms, skin etc…” someone else added.

“If I ever get insecure enough to use something like this just euthanize me,” another wrote.

However, others were more on board with the product, and insisted it would prove useful in their lives.

“OMG after losing 78kgs my legs need these!” one wrote.

“I need it!” another gushed.

“Love this,” a third agreed.

“I think that’s better than a push up bra,” someone else insisted.
