CAN’T get enough of the crazy couples on Married At First Sight?
Good news, Channel 4 is giving us that little bit more.
I can reveal that on the UK version of the show, which returns later this month, they will be following the couples through EVERY stage of the process — including their hen and stag dos.
It’s a major twist to the format, which has given C4 and E4 one of their biggest ever hits, but it’s one which is guaranteed to delight the show’s hardcore fans.
A TV insider said: “The programme makers know that the process on MAFS already delivers some sensational moments, but this will just add to that.
“Because even in the most conventional of marriage paths the hen and stag dos are often the flashpoints when there are tears, fights and maybe even some moments of temptation.
“Capture all of that on camera and then throw it into the mix and you have some dynamite telly and plenty of spanners being thrown in the works as the participants prepare themslves for married life to a total stranger.”
It’s all grist to the mill for the experts Paul C Brunson, Charlene Douglas and Mel Schilling who will be returning to guide them along the way.
Yesterday the show unveiled the line-up of lads and lasses willing to make the leap, and they include personal trainers, cabin crew and bankers.
Nowhere to hide
Since this is the tenth series of MAFS UK, none of them can say they didn’t know quite what to expect when they signed up for the show.
Though I wonder if they knew the cameras would be following them on their hen and stag dos too?
There’s nowhere they can hide from MAFS cameras.

But when events take a turn for the worse, Ben is forced to return to his family.

ROSS’S EDGIEST SWIM YET
HE’S the daredevil who’s just completed a terrifying swim around Iceland – and now Ross Edgley’s incredible achievement will feature in an upcoming Channel 4 documentary.
The Brit will be seen pushing his body to the limit in a new three-parter called Fire And Ice, which chronicles his 1,000-mile journey through some of the planet’s most dangerous waters.
This summer he embarked on his biggest challenge yet, making 20km swims each day and fighting hypothermia and salt water tongue rot.
Ross said: “This swim has taken me to the brink. You’re essentially trying to survive conditions that are constantly trying to kill you.
“Hurricanes and volcanoes aside, I’ve met the most amazing people whose country has incredible history and heritage. This wasn’t just a swim, but a journey through Icelandic folklore and mystery.”
BELOVED children’s character Bagpuss is making a comeback for a new live action and animated film.
The musical imagines how the cat would cope in contemporary Britain.
Emily Firmin, daughter of creator Peter Firmin, said: “To see our most magical cat return now is incredibly moving.”
AMANDA IN A BADD DRAMA
AMANDA ABBINGTON is finally brushing off her Strictly Come Dancing troubles with a return to TV drama.
She leads the cast of new Channel 4 thriller, Hunting Alice Bell – a six-parter from David Baddiel.

Alice Bell is a former nurse, and also the lover and accomplice, of a notorious anaesthetist serial killer.
She is living in Britain under a new identity.
When a woman called Fran Da Silva is accused online of being Alice, her life implodes.
Nightsleeper’s Alex Roach plays Fran and Simon Pegg also stars.
David Baddiel said: “We are told today that anyone can be who they want to be.
“But that means anyone can have who they are taken away from them.”
