NICOLAS JACKSON went to extraordinary lengths to make his Bayern Munich dream a reality.
According to reports in Germany he even waived part of a fee he was owed to get the deal over the line.

The Chelsea striker completed a last-gasp loan-to-buy switch to the German giants on deadline day, joining on a season-long loan with a £56million obligation to buy next summer.
But the move nearly fell apart more than once and Jackson reportedly sacrificed money from his own pocket to make it happen.
According to Bild, Jackson’s deal was initially put in doubt when Chelsea told Bayern they couldn’t proceed after Liam Delap suffered a hamstring injury during the Blues’ 2-0 win over Fulham.
Talks resumed just hours before the window slammed shut but Chelsea are said to have raised the loan fee from £13m to £14.3m, putting the whole move in serious jeopardy again.
That’s when Jackson stepped in.
The 23-year-old Senegal international is believed to have waived a portion of a bonus payment he was due if the transfer went through, in order to help Bayern cover the increased fee.
It’s a remarkable show of commitment from the forward who was desperate to seal a move to the Bundesliga champions and link up with Vincent Kompany’s squad.
It’s not the first time a player’s camp has bent over backwards to secure a blockbuster move this summer.

Benjamin Sesko’s agent also reportedly gave up part of his commission in order to help the Slovenia star join Manchester United.
Jackson, who signed for Chelsea from Villarreal in 2023, will hope to make an instant impact in Germany.
He’s in line to make his Bayern debut against Hamburg on September 13, before a blockbuster Champions League showdown against Chelsea at the Allianz Arena just four days later.
