BOXING legend Tyson Fury has denied any connection to local club Morecambe following their takeover.
The non-league side were facing crisis over the summer before being saved by the Panjab Warriors consortium.

They were suspended and faced expulsion from the National League over a failure to comply with the league’s rules.
Morecambe were back in league action at the weekend and beat Altrincham with a last minute winner.
But Fury has denied any connection to his local club, who he once sponsored.
He spoke to Racing TV at Cartmel Races, where his horse Big Gypsy King finished fifth in the 2:20.
Fury said: “I’m not connected to Morecambe whatsoever apart from I live there.
“I’ve never ever watched a game. They’re local I live there but they’re nothing to do with me.
“I’m not a supporter of football really. I used to support United but because they’re in the s*** now I’m not a supporter of any football teams anymore.”
Fury, 37, sponsored Morecambe during the 2022-23 campaign, when they were in League One.

His ‘Gypsy King’ brand was embroidered on the Shrimps’ home and away shorts.
Fury has sold one of his seaside homes in Morecambe for £700,000.
They bought the six-bed property back in 2015, which is equipped with three bathrooms and overlooks Morecambe Bay, for £480,000.
It was one of two in the area owned by the Fury family, the other being a £1.7million mansion the family moved to in 2020.
